
Gelede Dance , is the resident dance company at Pegasus Theatre, Oxford. The company is led by artistic director and choreographer Menelva Harry. Renowned for developing a new dance style building on bagua martial arts, with the fusion of contemporary ,traditional, and Eastern dance . The work is very technical and muscular with a key focus on female strength. Gelede’s work incorporates and is influenced by imagery, photography, music and visual design, producing highly energetic and colourful theatrical dance pieces.
